WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury names the sum former UFC champion Francis Ngannou will earn for the fight with him.
At a press conference in London Fury stated:
Everyone said he (Francis Ngannou) was an idiot for walking away from the UFC, and now all of a sudden, he’s a genius, isn’t he? (The) guy’s about to make $10,000,000. Come on. Egg in their face. Francis is about to make that bag. Rich.
Recall, the fight between Ngannou and Fury will take place on October 28 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
Fury fought against Derek Chisora in December 2022 and defeated him by technical knockout in the tenth round. Tyson has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses.
Ngannou defeated Ciryl Gane by unanimous decision at UFC 270 in January 2022. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt in mixed martial arts.
