John Fury, father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has spoken out about his son's performance in his fight with former UFC heavyweight division champion Francis Ngannou.

Ngannou probably fought the worst version of Tyson I have ever seen, physically and mentally. Even in the dressing room, his face was a funny colour. I was watching him spar the week before, and I wasn't impressed. During the week he had lung problems, I noticed how hard he was breathing after the rounds.
Recall, on October 28, Fury defeated Ngannou by a split decision of judges.
Fury previously entered the ring in December 2022, defeating Dereck Chisora by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses. The last fight was Ngannou’s debut in the boxing ring.
