Manager Spencer Brown, representing the interests of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, said that the Briton could have another fight later this year.
Earlier, Top Rank head Bob Arum said that a unification fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Fury may take place in December.
On The Fight with Teddy Atlas show Spencer Brown said:
I can’t divulge anything that’s going on at the moment, but if you had a Christmas Wishlist with one fight you wanted to see in the heavyweight division, it could very well happen. I’m going to say this: The Saudis will make everybody’s Christmas come true – that’s all I can say.
Recall, Fury will fight former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury last stepped into the ring against Derek Chisora in December 2022. That fight ended in favor of Tyson by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses.
Ngannou last fought against Ciryl Gane in January 2022 at UFC 270. In that confrontation, Francis won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 17 wins and three losses on his record.
