Former two-weight world champion Ricky Hatton of Great Britain has announced his intention to have an exhibition fight with former five-division champion Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd is happy to fight youtubers. If I'm going to have an exhibition fight, it has to be a fight with Mayweather. It could also be Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez. Basically, it has to be a fight I get something out of and not just fill up my purse.
Hatton and Mayweather met in December 2007. Then Floyd won by TKO in the tenth round.
Hatton, 44, had an exhibition bout against Marco Antonio Barrera in November, 2022. That confrontation went the whole distance and ended in a draw. Hatton has 45 wins (32 by knockout) and three losses.
