The WBO announced that the organization's heavyweight champion Lawrence Okolie and David Light have reached an agreement and given contracts to fight, according to which the fight for the title will take place on March 11 in London.
Okolie had his last fight against Michal Cieslak of Poland in February of this year. In that fight, Lawrence won by unanimous decision. He has 18 wins (14 by KO) and no defeats on record.
Light had his last fight against Indian Vikas Singh last October. That fight ended in David's favor by knockout in the second round. He has 19 wins (12 by knockout) without a single loss.
