The World Boxing Tour (WBT) tournament under the auspices of the International Boxing Association (IBA) was held on February 11 in Marrakech (Morocco), where the Russian team won the team qualification.
The Russian team won 12 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals in the team competition.
It should be noted that this is the first official tournament where all restrictions concerning national symbols and anthem were removed for the Russians.
The WBT format includes three categories: Gold Belt, Silver Belt and Bronze Belt. The tournament in Morocco was from the Gold Belt series. There were 245 competitors from 33 countries.
