Usyk And Fury Rematch Will Take Place In Late 2024 Or Early 2025

Top Rank head Bob Arum, who represents Tyson Fury's interests, said that the British boxer has activated the option for a rematch with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

Arum said in an interview with talkSPORT:

There's a rematch clause and Tyson has exercised the rematch clause and that fight will take place either at the end of the year or the beginning of next year.

Recall, on May 19 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) Usyk defeated Fury by split decision and became the undisputed heavyweight world champion.

The 35-year-old Fury previously entered the ring in October 2023, beating Francis Ngannou by split decision. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and one defeat on his record.

Usyk, 37, had his previous fight in August 2023, defeating Daniel Dubois by knockout in the ninth round. He has 22 wins (14 by knockout) without a single defeat.
