Multiple Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has estimated the possible return of Sebastian Vettel to Mercedes.
Hamilton himself will move to Ferrari in 2025. Four-time world champion Vettel left Formula One after the 2022 season.
RacingNews365 quoted Hamilton as saying:
I would love for Seb to come back and I think it would be an amazing option for the team. German driver, multi-world championship-winning driver, and someone who has amazing values who would continue to take the team forward. I’d love it if he came back.
Former Haas chief Guenther Steiner had earlier assessed Hamilton's prospects of taking the title with Ferrari. Mercedes head Toto Wolff has named contenders to replace Lewis at the German team.
