Adidas Bans No. 44 On Germany's Jerseys

Sports brand Adidas, a technical sponsor of the German national team, has banned the 44th number on their game kits because of its similarity to Nazi symbols, reports Sport Bild.

The players could not put this number on the uniform, because according to the bid footballers can take a number from 1 to 23, but it could be possible for fans, so the company decided to eliminate this possibility.

Recall, Euro 2024 will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14. Julian Nagelsmann's charges in Group A will play against Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland.

Earlier it became known that the UEFA Congress, which will be held on April 8, will consider the issue of increasing the number of players in the application to 26.
