Former head coach of Bayern Munich and the German national team, Hans-Dieter Flick, will become the new head coach of Barcelona, with the announcement expected on May 30.
Sources indicate that negotiations between Barcelona's sporting director, Deku, and the German specialist have been successful. It is also reported that the current head coach of the Spanish club Xavi Hernandez has been informed of the decision to appoint Flick.
Next week, Barcelona's management will hold a meeting where the final decision will be made.
Earlier, journalist Nicolo Schira reported that Bayern Munich, the team Flick led until 2021, offered the coach a contract until 2026.
