Barcelona President Laporta Determined To Keep Xavi For Next Season

Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, does not want to let go of the current manager of the team, Xavi Hernandez, who announced his departure from the club at the end of the season.

Xavi, a former midfielder of the Blaugrana, who took over the club in 2021, has decided to leave Barcelona after the end of the current campaign. With Xavi at the helm, Barcelona won the La Liga title in the 2022/23 season.

According to Sport.es, Laporta decisively told the current coach that he wants to see him next season. Xavi's contract with Barcelona ends in the summer of 2025.

Earlier, the coach stated that he has no regrets about leaving the current club. It was also reported that the club's management has already identified a list of four coaches who could lead Barcelona next season.
