Barcelona's Spanish sporting director Deco has reacted to criticism of the 43-year-old head coach of the Blaugrana, Xavi Hernandez.

The Blaugrana are in third place in the La Liga standings after 16 matches played. They have scored 35 points under Xavi's leadership.
Xavi leads Barcelona since 2021. His contract with the club runs until 2025. Under his leadership Barcelona became champions of Spain and won the Super Cup of the country.
Earlier, Xavi had the 100th game as Barcelona coach, and the President of the Catalans Joan Laporta said that the management of the Blaugrana has confidence in the Spanish coach of the team.
