Bayern Munich has suspended its striker Sadio Mané from the national championship match against Hoffenheim on April 15. The forward is penalized for fighting with his teammate Leroy Sané.
Recall, the incident occurred after Bayern's defeat in the Champions League match against Manchester City (0-3). After the end of the meeting, Mané' hit his teammate, cutting his lip.
"Sadio Mané will not play against Hoffenheim. The 31-year-old player will not be included in Bayern's squad for next Saturday's home match. The reason is his inappropriate behavior after the Champions League match against Manchester City. Mané will also be fined," according to the club's official website.
Mané has played 32 matches in all championships this season, recording 11 goals and five assists.
