Chelsea Announce Transfer Of 19-Year-Old Rennais Midfielder Ugochukwu

London Chelsea announced on their official website the signing of Rennais midfielder and the France national youth football team Leslie Ugochukwu. The agreement is set to run for seven years.

According to The Athletic, Ugochukwu's transfer cost the London club €27.5 million.

The 19-year-old midfielder is a graduate of Rennais. He spent 60 matches in the main team in all tournaments, scoring one goal and making one assist.

Ugochukwu played six matches in the France U19 national team and scored two goals.
