Chelsea London have officially announced the transfer of 19-year-old Belgian Southampton midfielder Roméo Lavia.

We are very pleased to welcome Romeo to Chelsea. He demonstrated his quality in the Premier League last season at Southampton, showing maturity despite his young age.
The midfielder signed an agreement with the London club for seven years. Lavia played 34 matches for Southampton, scoring one goal and making one assist.
In total, the midfielder has played 96 matches in his career, scoring three times and making six goal assists. Transfermarkt website estimates the transfer value of the Belgian at €32 million.
