Croatian 24Sata journalist Tomislav Gabelić, in an interview with Sport24, expressed full confidence that his national team will beat Morocco in the match for third place at the World Cup in Qatar.
Gabelić pointed out that the teams had already met in the group stage, but the journalist is confident that the "real battle" will be in the match for bronze.
Who will win? Of course, the Croats. We are better than the Moroccans and we appear to be a much more experienced team. Especially since this World Cup could be the last for our legends Modrić, Perišić and Lovren. They cannot afford to go home with nothing.
The Croatian national team lost to Argentina (0-3) in the 1/2 finals of World Cup 2022, while the Moroccan team was weaker than France (0-2). In the group stage of repechage finals participants met in the first round, then the score was tied at the end of the match (0-0). The consolation final of the World Cup 2022 will be held on December 17 at 18:00 GMT+3.
