EPL Clubs Unanimously Agree On Semi-Automatic Offside Technology

Clubs of the English Premier League (EPL) unanimously agreed on semi-automatic offside technology. The innovation will be available from the next championship season.

EPL statement
The technology will provide quicker and consistent placement of the virtual offside line, based on optical player tracking, and will produce high-quality broadcast graphics to ensure an enhanced in-stadium and broadcast experience for supporters.

Earlier, the EPL banned ball kids from quickly returning the ball to players. Also, the league management accuses Leicester City of violating financial rules.
