Firmino to leave Liverpool for Barcelona as free agent

According to Football Insider, Liverpool's Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino has agreed to join Barcelona as a free agent this summer.

The 31-year-old's contract with the English club expires on June 30, 2023. In March, it was reported that Firmino, who played eight seasons at Liverpool, had decided to leave the club following a meeting with Reds manager Juergen Klopp.

This season, the Brazilian has 11 goals and five assists in 33 games for Liverpool in all competitions. Transfermarkt estimates Firmino's market value at 22 million euros.
