Former Barcelona Star Dani Alves Sentenced To 4.5 Years Of Prison For Rape

The Instant Foot account reported that former Barcelona defender Dani Alves has been sentenced to 4.5 years of imprisonment for a rape case in a nightclub.

In early 2024, Alves faced charges for unlawful actions he committed at a Barcelona club in 2022. The court did not find the ex-footballer's arguments about the sexual encounter with a 23-year-old woman being consensual.

Throughout his career, the 40-year-old Alves played for Barcelona, Sevilla, Juventus, PSG, and other clubs. Alves became the Spanish champion six times and won the Champions League three times with Barcelona.
