Alex Sherman - citizen of Argentina who lives in Israel, recorded a video message to the captain of his national team and Inter Miami Lionel Messi.
In the video, Sherman asks the footballer to help rescue his son, who was captured by the Hamas organization and sent to the Gaza Strip. He believes Messi's words could influence a positive resolution of this situation:
My son Ron, an Israeli soldier with Argentine nationality, was kidnapped in Gaza by the Hamas terrorist group. I know you must have thousands of requests for cases from people who want help. And I don't know if this video is going to reach your hands, but as a father I am doing what I can to get my son back into my hands.
Recall, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict escalated on October 7. All matches of the national championship of Israel were postponed.
