Juventus Want To Extend Contract With Fagioli Disqualified For Betting

Fabrizio Romano reports that the management of Juventus Turin intends to extend the agreement with midfielder Nicolo Fagioli until 2028.

Recall, on October 17, Nicolo Fagioli received a seven-month disqualification for illegal gambling. The agent of the 22-year-old footballer said that his client suffers from gambling addiction and will undergo the necessary treatment.

Juventus issued an official statement supporting the footballer and assured that he will receive the necessary help. According to Romano's information, the Turin club plans to increase Fagioli's salary in the new agreement. Fagioli's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2026.

Nicolo Fagioli moved to Juventus in 2022 from Cremonese. The 22-year-old midfielder played 45 matches in all competitions, scoring three goals and making six assists.

Fagioli's agent Marco Giordano has publicly acknowledged his client's gambling addiction.
