Mbappé Turns Down €80 Million Bonus To Show He Doesn't Put Money First

PSG striker Kylian Mbappe has refused part of the bonuses he is entitled to under his contract with the French club, RMC Sport reported.

According to the media, the French forward decided to refuse some bonuses for loyalty to the club to show that money is not important to him. Thus, PSG saved about €80 million thanks to Mbappe.

Mbappe has been playing in the Parisian team since July 2018, his contract expires on June 30, 2024. The striker has 15 goals and one assist in 15 meetings this season. Transfermarkt website estimates the market value of the player at €180 million.

Earlier, former French national team player Samir Nasri advised Mbappe not to move to Real Madrid. Goal reported that Liverpool intends to fight with Bayern for the signing of the French forward.
