The International Football Federation (FIFA) and the International Federation of Professional Footballers' Associations (FIFPro) have presented the team of the year, which includes three PSG players: Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi.
Also in the team were the French forward Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) and Norwegian Erling Haaland (Manchester City). Midfielders: Belgian Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Brazilian Casemiro (Manchester United) and Croatian Luka Modrić (Real Madrid).
As for defenders, the Dutchman Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) and Portuguese Joao Cancelo (Bayern/Manchester City) were included in the team. The goalkeeper for team of the year is Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid) from Belgium.
The ceremony of presenting The Best FIFA Football Awards 2022 will be held in Paris on February 27.
