Neymar's Recent Injury Named The Worst In His Career

Winger of the Brazilian national team and Saudi Al-Hilal Neymar received the most serious injury in his career and for a long time will not be able to move independently. This was reported by his doctor Rodrigo Lasmar.

ESPN quoted Lasmar as saying:

He is recovering very well, of course, still in the initial phase. It's a complex injury, he ruptured a ligament and needs to be off his feet for a while. Due to the associated injuries, he will go through a lengthy rehabilitation process, he is aware of that. But he has been responding very well, we are satisfied. This time it is the most serious injury.

The doctor noted that this is the third operation in the career of the 31-year-old footballer, but previously he managed to return to the field much faster.

Recall, Neymar was injured on October 17 in the match of the qualifying stage of the World Cup 2026 against the national team of Uruguay (0:2). The player was unable to leave the field on his own.

Earlier, the player reported a positive outcome of his surgery and promised to focus on recovery. Al-Hilal want to suspend the contract of the Brazilian because of the injury.
