PSG Manager Galtier Detained on Racial Discrimination Charges

French PSG head coach Christophe Galtier and his son John Valovic have been detained by Nice police, Le Parisien reports.

It is noted that Galtier and his son were questioned. The men are suspected of religious and racial discrimination.

Earlier it was reported that in 2021, during his work at Nice, Galtier told the club's sports director Julien Fournier that there should not be so many Muslims and black people in the team.

Galtier took charge of PSG in the summer of 2022, signing a two-season contract. Earlier it was reported that the 56-year-old coach could be dismissed in the near future.
