The 38-year-old footballer was ahead of Argentine national team and Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on the list. Completing the top five were Al-Hilal striker Neymar and the Los Angeles Lakers basketball forward LeBron James.
In 2023, Ronaldo played 58 matches for Portugal and Al-Nassr, scoring 53 goals.
The Portuguese forward was ahead of Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe by the number of goals in 2023.
