Ronaldo Says He Won't Return to European Football Again

Portuguese striker of Al-Nassr Cristiano Ronaldo says he will not return to European football again.

Cristiano Ronaldo, quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano
I won't return to European football, the door is completely closed. I'm 38 years old, also European football has lost a lot of quality… the only valid one is the Premier League, they're way ahead of all the other leagues.

Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr as a free agent in January 2023. The 38-year-old forward played 19 matches for the club from the city of Riyadh, scored 14 goals and made two assists.

Last season, Al-Nassr finished second in the Saudi Arabian league table, while Al-Ittihad were crowned champions.
