The Saudi Pro League plans to spend around €2.3 billion in the summer of 2024 on player transfers, according to a report by journalist Ben Jacobs on social media.

According to the source, the main transfer targets of Saudi clubs are Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah and Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

According to the Transfermarkt website, the Saudi Arabian championship ranks tenth among the most expensive leagues in the world in terms of total value of players ( €1.02 billion).
