Super League CEO Says Top Clubs Received Threats Not to Join Tournament

Bernd Reichart, the CEO of A22 Sports, the company responsible for the creation of the European Super League, has spoken about threats to clubs over possible cooperation with the new tournament.

The format of the new competition was announced today, December 21, but most of Europe's top clubs have refused to participate in the tournament.

Many clubs in Europe have actually been threatened not to join the Super League. The threat is real.

Earlier, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said that the club completely rejects the idea of Super League. Reichart also said that the Super League project ends UEFA's monopoly in European football.
