Ter Stegen To Miss Up To Three Months After Back Surgery

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has had a back surgery in France and will not play on the pitch in 2023.

According to Sport.es, the Blaugrana goalkeeper will miss two to three months because of the injury. The German himself plans to return to action by the first match of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. It is reported that the player will return to the line in the near future because the operation was simple.

Earlier, the head coach of the Catalans Xavi said that he does not feel that his position at the head of the Catalan club is in danger. It was reported that the striker of the reigning Spanish champion Robert Lewandowski may leave Barcelona before the expiration of his contract.

Ter Stegen has conceded 15 goals in 17 matches this season in all tournaments.
