43-year-old head coach of Spanish Barcelona Xavi Hernandez commented on the information about his possible departure from the Catalan club.

I didn’t have the feeling that the job was at stake. I have total confidence in the president and Deco. I think we can have a good season. The team’s play has dropped off and that’s why the results haven’t come. We can’t say that we are in the best moment. We have played good minutes, but we have to improve and then the good results will come.
The Blaugrana have 34 points under Xavi's leadership after 15 matches played and moved to third position in the La Liga standings.
Xavi has headed Barcelona since 2021. His contract with the club runs until 2025. Under his leadership the Blaugrana became champions of Spain and won the Super Cup of the country.
Earlier, Xavi held the 100th game as a coach of Barcelona, and the club's president Joan Laporta said that the Blaugrana management trusts the Spanish coach.
