Zidane Considered For Marseille Head Coach Position

According to France Bleu Provence, French coach Zinedine Zidane has agreed to take the post of Marseille's manager on the condition that the club is sold.

It is noted that negotiations between the club and the coach on the conclusion of the agreement are coming to an end.

In June this year it became known that Zidane refused to lead PSG after the departure of the former coach of the Parisians Christophe Galtier.

Recall that from 2016 to 2018 and from 2019 to 2021 Zidane was in charge of Real Madrid. Under his leadership, Los Blancos twice won the Spanish championship, became two-time winners of the Super Cup of the country and three times won the Champions League. The specialist left his post in May 2021.

According to The Times, Zidane is being considered as a replacement for Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag, and earlier it was reported that the French specialist may head Real Madrid again.
