Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, who previously caused a traffic accident while intoxicated, made his first statement since his arrest.

Tony Ferguson on his social media
I accept the challenge. It's time to fight again, folks. Daddy wants to hurt someone.

On the night of May 6-7, Ferguson crashed his car into several parked cars outside a club in Hollywood. The fighter refused a breathalyzer test, after which he was detained by police.

Ferguson had his last fight against his compatriot Nate Diaz at UFC 279 in September, 2022. In that match, Tony was defeated by a choke in the fourth round. Ferguson, 39, has 25 wins and eight losses under his belt.
