Bellator Champion Nemkov: If I Go to UFC, I'd Rather Fight at Heavyweight

Reigning Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov of Russia admitted that he may move to the UFC as a heavyweight in the future.

Vadim Nemkov
A move to the UFC? Everything is possible, everything is real. I can ask the UFC for a good check with my skills and stats - a million for every fight (laughs). If I join the UFC, I'd rather fight in the heavyweight division, because I'm always having some trouble after every weight cut.

Nemkov had his last fight against Yoel Romero in June of this year at Bellator 297 tournament. In that fight, Vadim won by unanimous decision.

Nemkov came out in November, 2022, against Corey Anderson. This fight lasted the whole distance and ended in Vadim's favor by unanimous decision of the judges.

Nemkov made his Bellator debut against Philipe Lins in August 2017. In that fight, Vadim won by knockout in the first round. He has 16 wins and two losses under his belt in mixed martial arts.
