BKFC champion and former UFC fighter Bedford ends his career

Bare Knuckle FC bantamweight champion and former UFC fighter Johnny Bedford announced the end of his professional career.

Johnny Bedford
I had to make a difficult decision as I realize I can no longer compete at the top level. I'm unhappy, because I don't even wake up for a run at six in the morning. The sport doesn't give me the thrill anymore.

Bedford last fought against his compatriot Reginald Barnett Jr. in August 2021 at the BKFC 20. Johnny won that fight by unanimous decision.

Bedford last competed in the UFC against Rani Yahya of Brazil. That fight ended in a second round submission loss to Johnny.
