Cejudo Offers Jones To Sue Doping Agent For Defamation

Former UFC champion in two weight categories Henry Cejudo commented on the accusations against the promotion's heavyweight division champion Jon Jones of assaulting an employee of the anti-doping agency DFSI.

Cejudo said on his YouTube channel:

Henry Cejudo
Is Jon Jones innocent? One hundred percent. It's almost like these people want to somewhat create a story because they want to portray, keep going with the storyline that Jon Jones is 'the monster.' If I'm you Jon Jones, you know what I would do? I would get her for defamation of character. I would get her for trying to come at you for something that you really didn't do. You should probably start fighting this and go against them. Make them think twice before they start bringing your name up. Make them think twice before they're going to make up a story about you, you know, threatening to kill somebody or something.

Earlier, Jones published a post on social media telling his version of the incident.

Jones, 36, faced Frenchman Ciryl Gane in his last fight, which took place in March 2023 at UFC 285. In that confrontation, Jones won by submission (guillotine choke) in the first round and claimed the UFC heavyweight championship belt. He has 27 wins and one defeat on his record.
