Former UFC two-weight champion Daniel Cormier said that Russian former lightweight champion Petr Yan may leave the promotion because of the referees' decision in the fight against Sean O'Malley.

Daniel Cormier
Petr Yan is disappointed with that decision of the judges. He's just as disappointed with the judges' decision as he was in the fight with Sterling. I heard this guy might want to choose a different career direction. The thing is, he just doesn't feel supported by the organization. That's crazy.

Let’s recall, Yan lost to O'Malley by split decision in the main card of UFC 280. This is the second loss in a row for the Russian. In April Petr lost to Aljamain Sterling by split decision.

It should be noted that Yan has four more fights under his current contract.
