Famous UFC fighter Paulo Costa responded to the promotion's former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker, who previously made it clear that he wants to share the octagon with the Brazilian.

Costa last fought against Luke Rockhold in August 2022 at UFC 278. In that confrontation, Paulo won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 14 wins and two losses on his record.
Whittaker last stepped into the octagon against Dricus Du Plessis in July of this year at UFC 290. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in a technical knockout defeat for Robert. He has 24 wins and seven defeats on his record.
