Covington Thinks Jones Can Get Caught Doping At Any Moment

American fighter Colby Covington explained why his welterweight title fight with Leon Edwards should take place at the same tournament as UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones' bout with Stipe Miocic.

Colby Covington for Submission Radio
New York City is Trump country. It is Colby Covington country. This fight needs to go to Madison Square Garden. We all know why. Jon Jones is unreliable. Come on, let’s be honest. The guy could fail his steroid test. He could beat his wife again, end up in jail. He could do all these different things. Wasn’t he the first guy that ever got a whole entire event canceled for him?

Jones will face Miocic in the main event of UFC 295, which is scheduled to take place on November 12 in New York City. Jones defeated Ciryl Gane by first-round choke at UFC 285 this past March. Jones has 27 wins and one loss under his belt.

Covington last stepped into the octagon against Jorge Masvidal in March of this year at UFC 272. That fight went the full distance and ended in Colby's favor by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
