Former interim UFC lightweight division champion Tony Ferguson answered to Conor McGregor, who earlier promised to deal with him in the octagon.

Remember when you worked for me, I fired you because you weren’t doing your job. When you resolve the legal issues just sign your name, you cowardly champion.

Ferguson, 39, last stepped into the octagon against Bobby Green in July 2023 at UFC 291. That fight ended with Tony losing by technical submission in the third round. He has 25 wins and nine losses under his belt.

McGregor, 35, last fought against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. In this confrontation Conor was defeated by technical knockout after he broke his leg. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
