Ferguson knocked out of UFC rankings for first time in eight years

UFC light heavyweight Tony Ferguson dropped out of the top 15 fighters in his division for the first time in eight years.

Ferguson wasn't included in the updated UFC rankings after UFC Fight Night 216. Toney was displaced by Drew Dober, who moved up to No. 14 after defeating Bobby Green. Ferguson, who was ranked 15th, left the rankings.

Ferguson had his last fight against his compatriot Nate Diaz at UFC 279 this September. In that match, Tony was defeated by a choke in the fourth round.

Ferguson came to the ring against fellow countryman Michael Chandler at UFC 274 in May of this year. That fight ended in a second-round knockout loss to Tony. He has 25 wins and eight losses under his belt.
