Ferguson to Khabib: Dad would be angry if he knew what kind of shit you've turned into

American UFC fighter Tony Ferguson reacted to a statement made by former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov of Russia, who previously said that Tony only keeps getting into the Octagon for the money.

"You moron, when are you going to grow a pair of balls and stop writing checks your body can't cash. Daddy would be pissed if he knew what kind of shit you've turned into," Ferguson wrote on social media.

Recall that UFC matchmakers have attempted five times in the past to bring Khabib and Ferguson together in the octagon, but all of their attempts ended in failure. The fight was called off twice due to the Russian's fault, twice - because of the American, and the fifth time the fight was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Ferguson had his last fight against his compatriot Nate Diaz last September at UFC 279. In that fight, Tony lost by submission in the fourth round. Ferguson has 25 wins and eight losses under his belt.
