UFC fighter Rafael Fiziev told the story of how the promotion's featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski once got drunk in Thailand, poured his urine into a water gun and started pouring it on his teammates.

In Thailand they have New Year's Eve on April 14, it's called Songkran. Everyone sprays water, the entire Phuket gets doused in paint or water. Kind of like Ivan Kupala day in Russia. The Australians got so drunk that they started pissing in these water pistols and splashing each other (laughs). Including Volkanovski? Yeah, he didit too. They only sprayed their mates then, they didn't touch strangers.
Volkanovski will fight Russia's Islam Makhachev for the league lightweight title at UFC 284 on February 12 in Perth, Australia.
Volkanovski last competed in the Octagon against American Max Holloway at UFC 276 in July 2022. Alex won that fight by unanimous decision. He has 25 wins and one loss on his record.
