I had four fights in fourteen months as a champion in the UFC. That's unheard of. Life has forced me to take some time off, and I will. But, you will see me soon. I said 2027, and the r*****s out there thought I meant that, but you’ll see.
Adesanya last fought against Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC 293. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended with Israel’s defeat by unanimous decision of the judges. Thus, the New Zealander was once again stripped of the championship title. He has 24 wins and three losses.
