Hill Thinks Prochazka And Pereira Fight Was Stopped Too Early

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill commented on Brazilian Alex Pereira's victory in his light heavyweight division title fight against Czech Jiri Prochazka.

Jamahal Hill
I thought it ended a little early. [Prochazka] still had his arms clinched around his waist and things like that. You’ve got to let a champion go out. Jiri is a champion and I feel like he did deserve that respect of letting him try to fight through some adversity and I don’t think he was given that chance fully.

The bout between Prochazka and Pereira took place on November 12 at UFC 295 in New York, USA. In this confrontation Alex won by technical knockout in the second round and won the championship title in the light heavyweight division. He has nine wins and two losses on his record. Jiri has 29 wins, four losses and one draw.

Hill last stepped into the octagon against Glover Teixeira in January of this year at UFC 283. That fight went the full distance and ended in Jamahal's favor with a unanimous decision from the judges. He has 12 wins and one loss on his record.
