Nate's attorney wants to provide the district attorney with all the facts about the incident that will prove that trained fighter Rodney Peterson aggressively pursued Nate with the intent to fight him. And Nate put him to sleep in self-defense.

Diaz is scheduled to fight famous video blogger Jake Paul. The fight, which will be fought by boxing rules, will take place on August 5 in Dallas, USA.

Diaz last fought Tony Ferguson in September 2022 at UFC 279. In that fight, Nate won by choke in the fourth round. He announced his retirement from the UFC after that fight. He has 24 wins and 13 losses under his belt.
