Newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev posted a new post on social media about his victory over Charles Oliveira and winning the title.
"The dream has come true," Makhachev wrote on social media.
At UFC 280, held Oct. 22 in Abu Dhabi, Islam Makhachev choked Brazilian Charles Oliveira in the second round and became the promotion's new lightweight champion. In total, Islam has 23 wins and one loss.
