American UFC welterweight fighter Jorge Masvidal said he may end his career after his fight with Gilbert Burns on the night of April 9 at UFC 287.

This could be my last fight. If I lose, I'll probably stop doing it. But a win over Gilbert will mean things are moving in the right direction.
Masvidal last fought against Colby Covington in March 2022 at UFC 272. In that encounter, Jorge was defeated via unanimous decision of the judges.
Masvidal was in the Octagon in April 2021 against Kamaru Usman at UFC 261. The fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in Jorge's defeat by knockout. He has 35 wins and 16 losses under his belt.
