Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor reacted to the words of the promotion's head Dana White, who previously stated that he plans to organize a fight between the Irishman and American Michael Chandler this fall.
McGregor wrote on social media ahead of the National Football League's final U.S. fight on February 11:

Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest sporting days for my friends in the States, second only to the Mac's return to the octagon this summer! Good luck to the 49ers and the Chiefs, leave something in Vegas for me.
Chandler last fought against Dustin Poirier in November 2022 at UFC 281. In that fight, Michael was defeated by a choking submission in the third round. He has 23 wins and eight losses on his record.
McGregor last went into the octagon against the same Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. Conor lost this fight by technical knockout after breaking his leg. He has 22 wins and six defeats on his record.
