UFC CEO Dana White responded to a question about when the promotion's former double champion Conor McGregor will have his next fight.
White told YouTube channel Adam's Apple:
He wants the [fight]. He's gotta sit out the six months to get back into their drug testing pool. Realistically, we could be looking at him next summer.
McGregor, 35, last fought against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. In that confrontation, Conor was defeated by technical knockout after breaking his leg. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
